Definition of «mud volcano»

A "mud volcano" is a natural phenomenon where mud, water, and gases spew out of the ground in a similar way to a regular volcano. However, instead of lava, it erupts with mud. It looks like a big mound of mud that may bubble and release gases. Sometimes, these mud volcanoes can be quite small, while others can be as big as hills.
